Kootenai Falls and the Swinging Bridge
There is a point where the river seems to come alive in a canyon
just before it roars through China rapids and then over the 30 foot Kootenai Falls. This is one of the largest
waterfalls in the northwest, and a definite attraction to add to your explorations and sightseeing in this beautiful
northwest portion of Montana. You'll find Kootenai Falls just off Highway 2, which runs alongside the Kootenai
River between Libby and Troy.
