Nordicfest Heritage Festival
September 7, 2018 - September 8, 2018
Nordicfest Heritage Festival is a celebration of northwest Montana’s rich Scandinavian heritage. The two-day festival will consist of open-air music performances, food vendors, authentic Scandinavian food, dancing, craft shows, a parade, and much more!
Thursday, September 6
7:00- Kootenai Karacters Melodrama at the Maki Theater- “Granny Smith Goes to Washington” –Tickets $10.00
Friday, September 7
10am-6pm – Information Booth Open Inside the Memorial Center
10am-6pm – Juried Craft Show at the Memorial Center
11am-6pm – Food Booths Open at the Food Court/Memorial Center
Noon-Bunad Parade Starts at Libby Care Center and Proceeds up Mineral Ave. to the Memorial Center
10am– 6pm-Quilt Show at Asa Wood Center
12:15pm- Welcome at Memorial Center
1-6pm – Free Outdoor Entertainment
4pm– Runnerfell Race for Children –Libby Elementary School
5pm-7:30pm –Swedish Meatball Dinner at the Elk’s Lodge-Adults $10, Children $6/Shauney Fisher to follow!
7pm– Kootenai Karacters Melodrama at the Maki Theater- “Granny Smith Goes to Washington” –Tickets $10.00

10am-Parade Contestant Line-Up
10am-6pm – Juried Craft Show at the Memorial Center-Information Booth Open inside the Center

11am – Nordicfest Parade-Downtown Libby
10am-6pm-Quilt Show at Asa Wood Center
Noon – Opening Ceremonies, Anthems & Introductions at the Memorial Center/Parade Winners Announced
Noon – 6PM Information Booth Open Inside the Memorial Center
Noon-6pm – Free Outdoor Entertainment at the Memorial Center
1pm-Coloring Contest in the Memorial Center ages 4-6 and Troll Mask Making ages 7-10.
2pm-Krumkake Making and Kids Activities
3pm– Drawing for Educational Give-Aways
4pm-Scholorship Table Drawings Begin.
5pm-7:30-Spaghetti Dinner at the Elks Lodge-Adults-$10.00,Child $6
